Changing Faces: Updates from the CHA Office
We are thrilled to announce our newest addition to the CHA team: in November, Emma Myhre joined us as the new Communications and Events Associate.
Emma graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in June with a Communication Studies and Theatre double major and an English minor. She is recognized by Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society, Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society, Lambda Pi Eta Communication Studies Honors Society, and as a research panelist at the St. Thomas Undergraduate Communications Conference.
She has a strong background in non-profit marketing, communications, and event planning. Most recently, Emma honed these skills at the Gustavus Quarterly and The Classic Theatre of San Antonio.
“I love being a part of an organization that works so hard to make a difference on an individual level, from our volunteers to the children and families we serve. CHA has a mission that I am excited to promote, support, and grow.”
After six months, we are also saying goodbye to our Communications Intern, Kyra Boland. She is graduating from the University of Minnesota in December with a B.A. in Strategic Communications. Throughout her internship, Kyra has been an excellent team member. She is always attentive to her work, helping our volunteers, and connecting with our Guilds.
As she pursues her next steps with various PR and advertising agencies, she is grateful for her experiences with CHA. “Being a part of something that makes such a big difference in a lot of people’s lives is so fulfilling. I am so proud to have worked here and to be a small part of our mission.”
