Announcing CHA’s 2020 Making A Difference Award
There are thousands of incredible individuals and organizations that uniquely embody CHA’s mission. The Making A Difference Award celebrates just a few of those extraordinary people. This year, we’re honoring a group of contributors that represent CHA’s spirit of giving and dedication.
All, Inc., a third-generation, family-owned business, is one of the nation’s top appliance distributors. They partner with Spaces Magazine annually and names CHA as their Charity of Choice each year. Through their contributions, they challenge gifts that inspired other local companies to give to CHA. This year, they made a generous contribution to the Storyland Gala’s live auction. CHA’s mission has gained prominence in the St. Paul business community thanks to our relationship over the past three years.
Linda and Harry Haluptzok have been champions of CHA for decades. Linda has lent her leadership skills in positions throughout the organization: Board President, Gala Chair, and the Lunch Bunch Guild President and Treasurer. They faithfully donate to innovate pediatric care at Children’s, as Linda explains:
We have certainly gained more than we have given in our relationships with so many wonderful people. This organization will always remain close to our hearts.
Jo Ann and Keith Weber also have deep compassion for the patients and families that Children’s serves. Outside of their generous contributions, Jo Ann Weber just completed her fifteenth year on the CHA Board. She has served as Secretary and Governance Chair and on almost committee. In addition to Board service, she plays a lead role in the Lunch Bunch Guild as Co-President and as Treasurer. Keith has been by her side throughout – helping us host the Storyland Gala, organizing countless games and entertaining activities, and always advocating for our mission to change kids’ lives.
To celebrate the countless ways our contributors are making a difference at Children’s Minnesota, get your tickets for the Annual Meeting at Midland Hills Country Club before Friday, January 17th.
